Using the 'Poster Session' Format in L2 Contexts

Appendix 5:

Sample poster session presentation grading sheet

In this teaching context the poster session was one of four course assessment components. For the poster session, content and adherence to the course topic (Intercultural Communication) were the objectives. This was divided into the actual poster (15 points) and a required Short Overview written task (10 points). A further 25 points in total accounted for delivery and effort. Student completed the Name/Topic section themselves so they knew the criteria. Only the In-session section was completed during the class.
