On May 17th, PanSIG 2025 will be hosting a networking dinner for 150 attendees. The dinner will be held on campus at KUIS's Asian-themed cafeteria Shokujin. The buffet will include a selection of Asian dishes, including some vegetarian, that showcase the countries in which the Asian languages taught at KUIS are spoken (Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian, etc.). A selection of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages will be available, including Asian beers from the countries that complement the traditional dishes. All drinks are “all-you-can-drink”. A printed food and drink menu listing ingredients and possible allergens will be available on the day. Any participants wishing to inquire further about this, please contact program@pansig.org for more detailed information in advance. Animal rights and welfare are a passion of the PanSIG2025 conference chair, so the PanSIG committee has agreed to donate a portion of the reception proceeds to an animal sanctuary located in Chiba. プロ野球を見に行こう
Are you a baseball fan who is arriving Friday for PanSIG2025? Join us at ZOZO Marine Stadium on Friday for a game between the Chiba Lotte Marines and the Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters. First pitch is at 18:00. The stadium is a short walk or bus ride from JR Kaihin-Makuhari station and KUIS, the conference venue.
Enjoy the exciting atmosphere of a Japanese ball game, the energetic cheering, popular food trucks outside the park, and great food inside the stadium!
Tickets are ¥2800 per person and we have a limited number of tickets available on a first-come, first-served basis. While tickets are still available, you can order them when you register for the PanSIG conference. Payment for the tickets will be due by April 10th to guarantee your spot!
