This page is to help presenters prepare for their presentations at PanSIG 2024. Please see the venue floor plan to understand where the presentation rooms will be.
- 3:36 See a presentation room
- 4:15 Each room has a projector and speakers
- 4:48 Some rooms have wireless connection to the projector (USB and USB-C connection)
- 4:48 Also, you can connect to projector with HDMI. (Please bring an HDMI adapter if your device needs one.)
- 5:00 Audio connection. (If you're using an HDMI cable, the sound might come out of the projector, but in that case, you can shift the sound to the room speakers.)
Projectors and screens
All of the presentation rooms have new projectors that are super sharp and bright. The screen sizes vary; the photo below shows the smallest screen that is available. Other rooms have larger screens.
Above: Example of the smallest screen in the presentation rooms.
Boards
Some rooms have whiteboards, while others have chalkboards. You can attach magnets to all of the boards.
Desks and chairs
Some classrooms have desks and or chairs that are movable, while some have tables and chairs that are bolted in place. Please don't rely on being able to move the furniture around during your presentation -- if you're planning on forming groups, have a backup plan that allows for immovable furniture.
Audio
All rooms have speakers. If you're using an HDMI cable, the sound might initially come out of the projector, but in that case, you can shift the sound to the room speakers.
