The participation fees are owed upon registration.
Presenters must pay by 10th April to ensure their presentation is on the schedule.
If you have to cancel your registration, please let the Registration Chair know as soon as you possibly can. The PanSIG committee cannot guarantee that fees will be refunded. If refunded, a handling fee of 500 yen will be deducted.
No refunds will be accepted for any cancelations after 10th May.
The conference program may be subject to change.
You are recommended to use the JALT PayPal account to make payments.
Note to PayPal users: You must have an account with PayPal before making a payment with this system. Use the "Pay with my PayPal account" option when making payment. After you log in to PayPal, you can choose to pay by a credit card registered with PayPal. Do not use the "Pay with a credit card" option below the Log In button on the PayPal page (marked on top with "Choose a way to pay"), as that does not work properly in Japan.
Note to Bank Transfer users: It takes approximately one week for us to receive and process bank transfer payments. If you need to print a receipt, please be patient. Thank you for your understanding.
We can issue a receipt at the conference if necessary.
Letters of Acceptance
PanSIG issues letters of acceptance that are recognised at most universities.
For the purposes of attending PanSIG please be advised that Japan has visa exemption arrangements with 67 countries. If you come from a country other than those on this list, please be advised that PanSIG can offer no support beyond indicating that your presentation has been accepted for presentation. We can't help you with visa documents or sponsor you.
We do not sponsor presenters' visas. If you require a special format for your acceptance letter for funding reasons, be sure to contact the organisers well in advance.
Social Media Policy
The PanSIG organizing committee permits and encourages the use of various forms of social media, including Facebook, Twitter and live blogging at PanSIG as a means of summarizing, highlighting, excerpting, reviewing, and/or publicizing sessions, events, materials, speakers or the conference in general. By registering or participating in PanSIG, you consent to and authorize PanSIG representatives to (1) take non-flash photographs and/or videos of you during the PanSIG conference and (2) use and distribute presentation information, including your name, affiliation, presentation title and abstract, and/or image for informational, publicity, promotional, and/or reporting purposes in print or electronic communications media before, during, and after PanSIG.
Furthermore, by presenting at PanSIG, you consent to and authorize attendees to use social media tools to share quotes, commentary, photographs, and audio/video recordings of your session provided that: (1) only content excerpts are used and that the presentation material is not reproduced in full while using social media tools and (2) the speaker is referenced and cited appropriately in each case. Presenters have the right to make an announcement at the start of the session barring photographing, audio/video recording, and the sharing of presentation-related information on social media tools. We ask that at all times you please respect the intellectual property rights and copyrights of PanSIG and its presenters and speakers.
