Opening Ceremony: 9:00 - 9:30 (Saturday, May 25, 2024)
During our opening ceremony, a local hula dance troupe will perform to welcome all of us to PanSIG 2024, and to introduce our first plenary speaker, Daniel R. Isbell from the University of Hawai'i.
About Kunie Kāhea O Nā Lani Sakai Hula Studio
In November 2008, we opened our studio in Fukui. With about 300 students, ranging in age from 3 to 83, we aim to bring smiles to the people of Fukui through Hula. We give 35 lessons a week at various locations in Fukui prefecture with the motto of "Beauty at any age."
