Free childcare service at PanSIG 2024
A free childcare service will be provided for children between the ages of 3-12 years old. It will be available from 9:00-12:30 and from 13:30-16:30 on Saturday, May 25 and Sunday, May 26. Care will be provided by licensed childcare workers (保育士). There is a room set aside with internet accessibility, simple toys, puzzles, picture books, and a TV for streaming movies and cartoons.
We request that parents take responsibility for their children during the lunch break to give the staff time to eat their own lunches and to supervise meals for their child(ren). Staff will NOT be able to feed the children due to the danger of allergic reactions among others that may be present. Also, please bring any items that your child(ren) may need (e.g., extra diapers, wet wipes, a change of clothes, their favorite blankie, etc.).
Please be aware that the university and the conference cannot accept liability if anything should happen to the children. We are offering this service on the understanding of the parents that they accept full liability. Parents are requested to fill out this form [coming soon] to confirm this.
